It is worth to point out that the indexes of cities of performance, librettists, composers and singers do not merely show a reference to the main record in the volumes but they include again all the data, increasing the easiness of consultation.
For instance, for every city of performance the following data are specified:
- Day of performance,
- Title of the opera,
- Venue (theatre, church, palace and so forth).
- Day of performance,
- City of performance,
- Character,
- Title of the opera.
A particular point of interest of this majestic catalogue is the choice of Dedication and Advices, included in the records by Professor Claudio Sartori whenever possible, in order to clarify or highlight elements of particular historical and cultural significance.
